The P2 Program was created to educate the public and assist businesses regarding prevention of harmful contaminants from going down the drain and into the sewer collection system.
Businesses often find that reducing contaminants can save money on waste treatment and disposal while improving industrial processes and worker safety.

Award of Excellence: Each year a Pollution Prevention Award of Excellence is given to a program member that has done especially well in keeping pollutants out of the sewer collection system.
