Treebates
To promote proper care in our dry climate, the Water Authority offers “Tree Bates” to help cover tree maintenance costs — and even the purchase of new trees.
Maintenance includes; pruning, fertilization, pest management, compost and mulch.
Qualifying trees are listed in our Xeriscape guide under trees/deciduous (pages 51,52,53)
The Tree-Bate/Tree maintenance rebate can receive:
Residential customers 25% or up to $100.00 of the service cost
Commercial customers 25% or up to $500.00 of the service cost
Treebate requirements:
- Must apply within 90 days from the date of purchase
- Itemized receipt to include a zero balance (PAID IN FULL) invoice
- Must be a Water Authority customer
- Trees must be listed in our Xeriscape guide to qualify
- Tree removal DOES NOT QUALIFY
- Must have account number
How to Apply:
Log on to our online Conservation Rebate Application to create an account. If you already have an account, sign-in to complete the application.
Rebate credits will be issued to the service installation address within 1-2 billing cycles or up to 90 days. Customers are eligible for a rebate credit per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30)
