Sorting the Wastewater into Trash, Sludge, or Water
Believe it or not, we get all of these things in our wastewater!
Draw an arrow showing how we separate these things out. Just remember, that the trash should not have come to us. We have to get it out of the wastewater and then truck it out to the garbage dump.
Fats and grease clog the pipes so never pour them down the sink. Instead, you can
COOL IT (Don’t handle hot grease!)
CAN IT (Pour it into a can to store until garbage day)
CHUCK IT (put it in the trash)!
