The Water Utility Authority Is Happy to Support our Libraries' "Make A Splash" Summer Reading Program 2010
Since we live in a desert, we would like all of our customers to understand how important it is to conserve water. When the Collaborative Summer Library Program chose "Water" as a theme for the summer reading program in 2010, we saw an opportunity to help make it a success. Besides providing bookmarks for the ABC libraries, we would like to offer these sources for curriculum, and to help you find links to other fun web sites about water.
The theme for this year's Water Follies puppet show is "Our Favorite Books." Besides performing at the libraries, we have made the curriculum from our shows (the songs, stories, and coloring books) available for your use. Please visit our Puppet Show page to download these materials.
Visit our interactive a Trip through Albuquerque's Water System to learn about where your water comes from and where it goes. In addition, our Kids' Trip through the Water System is full of fun activities and information.
