Customer Advisory CommitteeThe Customer Advisory Committee (CAC) was established to obtain advice and recommendations on the Authority policies, plans and programs. The CAC consists of nine members who are customers of the Authority’s water or wastewater system. The CAC meets on the first Thursday of each month in Albuquerque Bernalillo County Government Center, Room 5038 at 4:00 p.m. 2008 Meetings
May 1, 2008 2007 MeetingsSeptember 6, 2007 (Meeting Canceled) October 4, 2007 November 1, 2007 December 6, 2007 Water Protection Advisory BoardThe Water Protection Advisory Board (WPAB) was established by a joint ordinance from the Water Utility Authority, the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County. The purpose of the WPAB is to study and advise the Authority, City and County on surface and ground water protection concerns; to oversee implementation of the Ground Water Protection Policy and Action Plan; to promote consistency in Authority, City and County actions to protect surface and ground water quality; and to advocate effective protection of surface and ground water quality. The WPAB consists of nine members, two of whom are appointed by the Authority, three of whom are appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council, and three of whom are appointed by the County Commission. One member is appointed jointly by the County Commission and the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.
