If you have a meter equipped with AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) as shown in the photo to the right, you can log into your Water Authority account to see your hour-by-hour water usage. Unusual usage patterns or spikes could indicate plumbing issues in your house or yard that require attention, such as leaks in toilets or irrigation systems. Quickly addressing leaks can save thousands of gallons of water (and a lot of money on your water bill). No more waiting for your monthly bill to see if you’re using more than usual!
Start by going to www.abcwua.org. Click on “My Account” in the top menu bar to create online account access if you haven’t done so already. You’ll need to enter your Water Authority account number. Once you’ve set up your account online, you can view and pay your bills—and see your daily water consumption under “View Water Usage.”
