ALBUQUERQUE, AUGUST 1 – A number of Water Authority customers have contacted the utility with questions about recent solicitations from insurance companies selling “water line service coverage.”

The Water Authority wishes to make clear that it does not endorse any companies or services, nor does it take a position on the need for supplemental insurance coverage for privately owned water lines.  People with questions about the need for such insurance should contact their insurance provider.
