Water waste violations include waste caused by equipment (e.g. sprinklers, A/C leaks, broken or leaking lines) malfunctions. Malfunction must be repaired or the flow turned off within 48 hours of the notification. Notifications will include a door hanger and an alert flag placed at or near the site of the malfunction. If a malfunction continues after the 48 hour notification expires a violation will be issued for non-repair. Malfunctions are documented on video.
