ALBUQUERQUE, JAN. 10—Planning for spring landscaping projects?  Soil preparation is a critical part of the process, and composting is a great way to add nutrients to your soil while promoting water retention.

“Compost Del Rio Grande” is a high-quality by-product ofthe Water Authority’s wastewater treatment process, rich in iron and biosolids, and is available to the public at these great prices:

  • Screened Compost – $25/ton or $10/cubic yard
  • Unscreened Compost (2”-4” wood chips mixed in) – $18.75/ton or $7.50/cubic yard
  • Composted Wood Chips – $10/ton or $5/cubic yard

Delivery is available for orders of 8 cubic yards or more. Please call for pricing and delivery charges. Five percent discount for purchases over 100 tons per month.  Open Monday thru Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Don’t forget the tarp when picking up compost.
