Eastside Pipeline

Project Description: Approximately 9,500 linear feet (1.8 miles) of 66” pipeline that will begin on Chappell Road and the North Diversion Channel, head east on Singer Boulevard to Jefferson Road, head south in the Jefferson right-of-way, then turn north within the south I-25 right-of-way to a point east of PF Chang's restaurant, then tunnel east under I-25 to Osuna Road, continue east on Osuna past San Mateo Boulevard, then stop at the western edge of the Arroyo del Oso Golf Course (just west of San Pedro).

Project Description: Approximately 18,000 linear feet (3.4 miles) of 30” pipeline that will begin on Academy Road, proceed east on Academy to McKinney Drove, then turn north on McKinney to Forest Hills Drive, then west on Forest Hills to just east of the I-25 frontage road, then north to Del Rey Avenue, then east on Del Rey to San Pedro Drive, then north on San Pedro to Palomas Ave., then east on Palomas to the Coronado Reservoir.

Project description: Approximately 2,265 linear feet (nearly 1/2 mile) of 36” pipeline and 2,561 feet (nearly 1/2 mile) of 60” pipeline that will begin at the intersection of Atrisco & Ladera roads, continue south on Atrisco to Sequoia Road, turn east at Sequoia and continue across Coors Blvd. to west of Alamogordo Drive. This pipeline will connect with the Rio Grande Crossing Pipeline.

Rio Grande Crossing Pipeline

Project description: Approximately one-mile project includes about 1,000 linear feet of 60” pipeline and 4,000 linear feet of 54” welded steel pipe that begins at Sequoia Road west of Alamogordo Drive, continues east on Sequoia, down the west bluff, and crosses the Rio Grande and its Bosque to the west end of Campbell Road.

East Valley Pipeline

Second Street to Water Treatment Plant
Project description: Approximately 15,150 linear feet (2.86 miles) of 72” pipeline that starts adjacent to the Alameda Drain at Second Street south of Candelaria Road, extends north across Second Street, then east on Candelaria to Edith Boulevard, then north on Edith to the Alameda Lateral, northeast along Montano Road, than east on Montano to Renaissance Boulevard. The pipeline stops at the south tie-in point of the discharge line for the surface water treatment plant.

West Valley Pipeline

Project description: 3,690 linear feet (about 2/3 of a mile) of 60" pipeline and 10,390 linear feet (nearly 2 miles) of 66" pipeline that begins at the west end of Campbell Road, adjacent to the Rio Grande Bosque, and connects to the River Crossing project, continuing east in Campbell Road, crossing Rio Grande Blvd. to the Griegos Lateral, south along the Griegos Lateral, crossing Matthew Avenue to the Alameda Drain, then running east along the Alameda Drain to 2nd Street to tie into the East Valley project. This project will result in an improved pedestrian/bike trail in the Bosque.

West Raw Water Pump Station

Project description: Located on the northwest corner of the Bachechi Open Space, the raw water pump station will be highlighted with a 32' parapet to add architectural interest and will blend in with area homes and architecture. The pump station will be fully xeriscaped, with minimal down-lighting, and will serve as an access point to Alameda/Rio Grande Open Space. It will feature special noise-dampening features and will be remotely operated to minimize disruption to the area.

Raw Water Diversion Dam

Project Description: Obermeyer Inflatable Dam rising 3 to 3.5 feet above Rio Grande at operating height, located 1,500 feet south of Alameda Blvd. West half of Dam will be constructed first; east half will be constructed second. Includes an intake/fish screen to keep fish out of pump station and a fish passage to provide a pathway around the dam for fish.
